AIR FRYER APPLES

These air fryer apples are my favourite way to use up my apples, especially in the fall. It's so easy and the perfect addition to a warm bowl of oatmeal. Spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger, it tastes like apple pie filling.  You could even serve it with vanilla ice cream for dessert. There's nothing better!

Ingredients:

– Apples – Coconut oil – Maple syrup – Cinnamon – Nutmeg – Ginger

Can I make this in the oven?

I have not tested these in the oven, however you make these baked apples on the stovetop. Add your melted coconut oil in a pan over medium heat, add your coated apples and saute until the apples begin to soften, about 5 minutes.

What do you eat air fryer apples with?

You could add them to oatmeal, a yogurt bowl, or on a stack of pancakes. These are also SO yummy on a warm chia pudding! If I'm enjoying the air fryer apples as a snack/dessert, I like serving it with Greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream.

STORAGE

Air fryer apples are best fresh, however if you have leftovers you can save them in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container. To reheat, air fry at 350F for about 5 minutes or microwave for 1.5 minutes.
