Oat Milk Hot Chocolate

Perfect for the snowy weather, my oat milk hot chocolate decadent, creamy and warming. It's a great lower sugar option that's also gluten-free, vegan and uses pantry staples!

Ingredients 

  • 2.5 cups unsweetened oat milk 625g
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 4.2g
  • 1 -2 tablespoon maple syrup 20-40g
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder 14.5g
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon 1.5g
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder optional

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a medium pot and whisk to combine.
  • Continue whisking periodically until the hot chocolate is steaming (don’t let it burn!).
  • Pour into mugs and top with marshmallows (vegan if necessary), dairy free whipped cream or a light dusting of cocoa powder.
