Air Fryer Apple Crisp

This air fryer apple crisp can be made in less than 15 minutes, has all your classic cozy apple crisp flavours and is sweetened using only maple syrup making it the perfect treat for any time of the day.

Ingredients 

Apple Filling

  • 1 apple diced
  • ½ tablespoon butter or coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Crisp Topping

  • 1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil softened
  • ½ tablespoon maple syrup or sugar
  • 3 tbsp oats
  • 2 tablespoon oat flour (or all purpose flour)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes optional
  • ½ tablespoon chopped walnuts optional

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 360°F.
  • In a small bowl mix together topping ingredients until a dough forms, set aside
  • In a separate bowl, mix together your filling ingredients and stir until apples are fully coated.
  • Pour your apple filling into a small oven safe dish. Evenly spread the crisp topping over the apples. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes or until the top begins to brown (all air fryers are different so start watching at 10 minutes!
  • Top with ice cream and more apples and enjoy
